The Dive master rating is the first step on the professional career path. The course is designed to elaborate your diving knowledge and skills to a professional level. It will enable you to guide certified divers and assist with any training activities conducted by a PADI instructor.

The course includes academic knowledge development on 12 topics. You will learn this theory partly by self study, partly through instructor presentations. There's an exam on 8 topics. We advise you to get the Dive master manual, Encyclopedia and Knowledge Workbook before you start the course. This allows you to begin studying before, at your own pace.

There are also some waterman ship requirements to fulfill, like 400m swim, 800m snorkel swim, 15 min. tread and a 100m tired diver tow. We will asses your rescue skills and look how you manage a stressful situation. You will learn how to make underwater maps and develop your knowledge on being a dive guide by going through all the aspects of the job. Another thing we will teach you is how to assist with student divers in training. This will enable you to actively take part during the courses, conducted by your instructor.

As a Divemaster you can enroll in the PADI E.F.R: Instructor course.
